London to Brighton Bike Ride

Sunday, 21 June 2009 was the date of a sponsored bike ride for the Hepatitis B Foundation UK. The route was from London to Brighton and taking part were En Thai, Paul Cheung, Eric Ho, Chi Chan and John Tsang. Thanks a million you five riders for supporting this charity and we hope you had a great day on the 21st!

En Thai writes: "The 5 of us are going through a mid-life crisis and decided something must be done to control our mid-drifts from ballooning out of control. What better way to do this than to go for a leisurely bike ride and contribute for a good cause at the same time? We range from "has been" keen cyclist, "I hate cycling" to someone who only bought his bicycle at the end of last month, so only giving himself 1 month to train up !!!

We hope to ride at a leisurely pace and complete in 5 hours, will let you know how we get on with some photos after the event...."

Race photos hot off the press!

Message from the riders

Hello all,
We just want to say thank you all for sponsoring us and the Hepatitis B Foundation. We are really pleased we managed to get over £1000 for such a worthy cause in such a short space of time. The day went perfectly and the weather even better. We set off at 8am and reached Brighton at 12:00. Being our first ride, we were very pleased to have completed it without needing any breaks, but it was very tiring.

Thanks again....

En, Eric, Chi, Paul and John.
