Calling all hep B patients - please can you help?

Wednesday, September 06, 2006

World Hepatitis Awareness Day (WHAD) will take place this year on 01 October.

Sir Bob Geldof, the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, the European Liver Patients Association and international patient organisations are working together to raise awareness about hepatitis B and C. They're encouraging people at risk for these diseases to get tested.

In the United Kingdom on 01 October, there'll be a media launch that will focus on service users. If you're a patient with hepatitis B or a relative/carer of someone with hepatitis B, would you be prepared to tell your story and so help improve hepatitis B services for others? We'd be very grateful.

If you can help, please email: coordinator@hepb.org.uk
